I already have a code from it anyways lol I replaced it and still throwing code.
But what about the two hoses going into the little rectangular metal box sorting there with the sensor on it?

VMPtuning.com sells the delete. 15/16 " wrench will remove the pipe. I had to cut my wrench or remove the pass. side exhaust manifold to remove the egr.

I just got my egr mount and cut out some scrap metal(1/8" thick), drilled 2 holes. bolted it up with some permatex. That blocks off the intake. Undo the entire tube that bolts to the header, on my 01 last primary pass. side. I stuck a bolt init and welded the hole shut. Then I capped off the vacuum tubes, removed the sensor and HID the wire connectors. Don't cut them. If I had to re-add it, I could. I notice no lose in fuel mileage.
I did it to clean up engine bay AND make room for my windstar intake.

If I remove it and don't delete the code will it mess anything else up? Or do I need to delete it?

Your check engine light will come on. Just remember that code is not effecting any thing important. The egr sends exhaust gasses back into the intake. You can also put a pipe stop on the manifold.

Yeah I was thinking of just buying the pipe stop and then a 1/8 plug for the Egr part then that's it lol

If you delete it would you not pass inspection?

I don't 'think' you'd pass visual inspections. We don't have it here
