Good v6 mods?

I know alot of people are gonna say well buy a gt but im looking for some stuff i could do to give my car some more pep im replacing the motor and havent decided on if i wanna do another 3.8 or swap in a 4.2 but any other ideas on what i should do such as bolt ons or rear end im not looking to supercharge or turbo it so any other options are helpful. Thanks!

A good used 3.73 or 4.10 rear should run you $350-$1,000. They're around.

Get a short shifter if you have a standard. Your shifting time will be cut in half.

They are FR500s and sell for 140 a rim new at AM. That should help you drive the price down on a set of racing rims.

I hear the BBK TB response is amazing. It doesn't add power. But a noticeable difference. You will need the BAMA tune after an exhaust upgrade for sure. So save the throttle body for last.

The 4.2 pulls harder. Lower gears helps also.
My cars and automatic, it use to downshift going uphills. Doesn't do that anymore. Doesn't have much power after 3krpm for me though. Your car already has better heads and intake than mine so it should be better.
