My car (help and opinions)

My name is Matt, I'm a 17 year old mustang owner in Georgia. I have a 2004 40th anniversary with a 3.8 v6. It's fully stock at the moment. I'm making this thread to get opinions and ideas about how to make it look better/run better. Thanks for any input. Click image for larger version

Mods I am looking to buy.:

Sequential tail light kit
Halo headlights
Taillight tint

Exhaust
Throttle body spacer
Cai
Bama tuner

Any other bolt-ons to increase performance that are fairly inexpensive?

For the look you can add the Mach1 chin spoiler and the grill delete, the front end will look sick.
Also don't forget to add bigger wheels to your list with a lowering springs.
I'm not really expert in the performance, so I'll leave it to the other guys.

You can also get really cheap stuff like a rear sway bar and strut tower brace, I got both of them for $40 each over Craigslist, these will improve your handling.

And of course the body kit, x-pipes (flowmaster super 44s soon), and a nice sound system.

Where do you find plasti dip for $13 a can? I paid $7 at Home Depot.

I used Armor All brand. Lasts almost twice as long.

Performance you will want a CAI first. I think for the cost it is one of my favorite mods for the performance it provides. Next step is converting it to a dual exhaust and buying a tuner. I would say no to the throttle body spacer because I have heard they don't do hardly anything performance wise. I installed a BBK 78mm throttle body I believe on my 04 because the throttle was a big laggy and it fixed it and I think it gave a decent performance gain but others say they're worthless. After that I suggest getting a GT rear end because they come with a tlok so you won't be doing any one wheel burnouts, and after that get some 3.73 gears for it which will hardly effect your mpg on the highway and will be useable even if you decide to supercharge it down the road (assuming it's an auto.)

Handling is another story. Lowering springs are nice, but the first thing I think you need to install is a strut tower brace. I bought mine for 100 bucks from American muscle and installed it yesterday. It's amazing for the price, I can go 10-20 more mph around curves now and the ride just feels a lot better. After spring and strut brace look into a swag bar, and remember to get new camber plates if you get lowering springs so your car can be properly aligned. I'll post some pics of my car in a bit so you can see.

By the way, I have the sequential tail light kit and I love it
