Need help timing my new cam

How's it going everyone?
I desperately need help timing my new compcam that has a .500 lift and 218/226 duration inside my 2000 v6 mustang . I'm new to the fourms and im just hoping has anyone else installed the same cam and timed it themselves? Your help would be highly appreciated .

Here's the cam by the way: url=

doesn't the timing chain have timing mark you're suppose to line up?
I think there's a tool your suppose to use on the dummy distributor thing(can't remember the name of that little thing... ) That might be what you need.
I hope someone who know's the name of the part chimes in...

CAM positing sensor. As long as you are top dead center/ intake stroke. It will slide back in place. Don't forget to push it back towards the engine. Here is a video with the tool. I got stuck on my engine.
