And it does have the traction control I was trying to use my scanner to see if all my wheel speed sensors were working but it couldn't connect to the abs data stream

So is the missing diode causing the abs light to comes on, or you just guessing that this is the problem?

I have the same issue. Because it's generally kind of expensive, my mechanic said to not even worry about it and just deal with the light being on.

My abs module was out when I first bought the car, the dealer asked for $900 for the parts only, I went to the junk yard and picked it up for $90 and installed it myself, now I have my abs and traction working properly.

My ABS module was bad before I bought the car. Since it was a safety feature the dealer was required to fix it before they could sell it to me. They said it cost them around $500 or so to fix, but since it was their issue they couldn't tack the price onto me.

The sign was my ABS light and my Trac off button light being on.
