Brakings off

I have an '01 v6 and when I brake it makes like a loud almost clicking noise and jolts like if was someone was shifting gears poorly on a stick shift. Any ideas on what is wrong and what the solution would be?

Also it's an automatic not a stick shift

Multiple things could be wrong with it I live in Michigan so snow build up, mud build up are pretty big for me but the tyrod ,wheel Bering uneven tread on your tire or uneven wear on your break pad

clicking? likely your CV-joints. look under the car for what looks like crinkled rubber on the axles. If the rubber material is torn, you have found your problem.

These cars don't have C/V axles.

Wheel bearings or maybe a rock stuck in your breaks that can cause a noise like that and also make your car feel like that.
