Horse power

I doubt it even has that to the crank. Previous owner was selling his car like a good car salesman lol.

OP, grab a tuner to start. Get some gears, and maybe a CAI if you want some eye candy. Call it a day because you won't see too much more in gains unless you do a power adder. Gears and a tune by itself will make the car a lot more fun to drive.

I wanna see this dyno sheet. And pipes gives you like 1-2 hp at the crank lol. Nothing to the wheels.

Not trying to be rude. But I just seriously doubt you are putting enough power down to run with the new edge GT's. Unless he has something added that you/he didn't tell about.

Im not very familiar with allot of performance parts and im pretty sure he did do some more to it. It was a show car so anything to make the engine look better is what he had in mind

A 4.2 swap, CAI and gears should make a pretty good difference.
My 95 V6 was suppose to run 17.5 seconds in the quarter mile stock(I never raced it stock.
With a 4.2, CAI and 8.8 rearend with 3.27's, I ran a 15.6, it's also untuned.

Uncorrected...

To the op. A tune will give you the biggest sop difference. Intake is useless for power as is exhaust. Exhaust just makes it sound faster.

If you can afford gears they are worth if.

Wow.. This was funny to read at least

That intake with exhaust you have about 165rwhp being an automatic.

To break 190 you'll need motor work no doubt there..

I made 253 last time I went to the dyno, heads cam intakes through a stalled auto (20% drivetrain lose ftw).

People make v6's that are capable of outrunning gt's all the time. I just had one not to long ago that I sold that was a 2003 v6 that was pushing 302 HP. And yes that's to the rear wheel and not the crank.

Yeah, but now much did it take to get there.. I'm gonna guess more than outright buying a GT.

You can find used supercharger kits for under 2K if you are patient.. They are cheap

And people don't make them hit 300rwhp "all the time" lol. I have yet to see a v6 of the same year that won't get smoked by a GT. Pushing that much for a v6 is pretty rare.. Not common.

Too many people don't do things themselves and want to pay hundreds or more for someone else to do it for them, I like seeing things like this now since its rare

Trust me the people I raced against thought it was a laughing stock because I had the stock exhaust which it had electronic cut outs but it sounded stock so I whipped many tails from gt's and camaros

I even raced newer gt's and beat them but to be fairly honest it's not the car it's the driver that wins the race. HP means nothing if you can't handle it

I said newer I didn't say coyote. They would destroy me stating the obvious 100 HP more difference and the torque difference too especially if its a good driver. But they didnt put the coyote in the mustang till 2011.
