Plasti-dip

So I have a 99 red mustang, 35th anniversary addition, and I've for some rust alone the wheel wells and rockers and the bottom if the drivers door is chipping. I've been told obviously touch up paint, repaint the whole care or plasti-dip..I don't wanna spend a lot of money but would plastidip actually work for that type of thing if I can find a colour that matches decently? All options wanted! Click image for larger version

Yeah for sure. I'm just having a hard time matching the paint because it was "special" for the 35th anniversary edition even tho it's just red...but there's a million different reds and I'm having trouble finding one that actually matches decently.

If you look at the rear end of my Mustang, the rear spoiler and bottom half of the bumper are plasti-dipped. The decklid is vinyl though. Like they said, if done right, it looks good.

If you check inside your driver side door on the tag u can see your paint code... drive over to NAPA and tell them it.. They can color match your car and mix up some paint in a spray can for you.. I think its about $10 a can.

Or come visit me.. There is a shop here.. for $600 they will do the whole car in plastidip, any color and give you a one year warranty encase it gets damaged from everyday normal wear.
