GT throttle body on V6?

I was wondering if it was possible to stick a GT throttle body on a v6. It would be a cheaper alternative over the 250 dollar BBK throttle body for V6 mustangs. Just wondering, it would be nice for a few extra ponies and throttle response..

No power gain. Yes you can, but it requires a remote iac setup as their throttle bodies have no provision for it, look into the windstar swap.

I did some research on it and most people say there is no power gain from a bigger throttle body when you're still N/A....but on american muscle, under the reviews of the bbk throttle body, there are like over 100 reviews of people saying they feel the car pull a bit more and notice some gain. Its confusing because I really dont think 100 of those people were lying ya know? But most people do say there is no power gain

Product reviews on a site wanting you to buy stuff say it does, non-biased people on forums who don't want you to waste money say don't do it

It makes the whistle from the CAI a little louder and throttle response is slightly improved, about it.

Don't waste your time reading the reviews. Look for dyno sheets that can show you what the actual gains are before and after install of the TB (or any power adder). For example:

If and when you go to purchase a used car, do you ask "What do you guys think of this car, it runs good right?" Or do you say "Let me see at least the carfax, any service records of the car, etc."?

Honestly the stock throttle body is fine unless you do head and cam work.
