Ebay turbochargers trustworthy?

Just for fun I browsed on ebay for some cheap turbochargers for 3.8 mustangs. I found some really low prices on them and they even came with a 1 year warranty. Are these turbos any good? Has anyone used them or heard of the brands?

It's always risky to go from a n/a motor to a turbo. The smartest thing to do is build the bottom end first. I know a few people whom slapped on a high quality turbo on a stock bottom end and the moment they turn the boost up, the AR's go lean and they burn their rings up.

I figured the price would give it away.

They are junk.

Also, that turbo is a bit small for a 3.8L.
