stupid moment - Mustang Evolution

stupid moment

hey guys i was tightening the four bolts that hold the hood to its brcket and due to rust i snapped one of the bolts clean in half. does anyone know where i can buy the bolts?

Home Depot or lowes...just bring the bolt with you to match up length and thread pattern.

it's just a bolt, any hardware store should have one that matches.

Not true, Ford is known to use specialty nuts and bolts exclusive to them.

Oh they can be very special, have you every opened up the MAF? Or replace the belt tensioner? Not your average bolts.

I'm pretty sure the ones that hold the hood on are just average size bolts.
I didn't need to use any special socket set for them.
