Bama tuner

The biggest problem i have with my 99 is that the throttle response is really bad. Will getting a tuner fix it?

Probably not!.. Your car is a Throttle By Cable!.. If you have a bad throttle response, then you might have some other issue going on!.. Might be time for a tune up?

Try cleaning the Mass airflow sensor and the throttle body with specific cleaners from autozone. Then you can try the gas pedal mod to see if that helps. Google it!

A tune will definitely help. But since your car is drive by wire it may not help as much as you'd like. I would recommend looking into what SpeedyG suggested. He definitely pointed you in the right direction!
