HELP. Vacuum line connection broke

I am in the process of switching all of my vacuum lines and hoses to red on my mustang. I got to the two hoses on the passenger side that connect to a plastic box with two fits coming off if it and I broke on. This box is behind the alternator. Does anyone know what this is called ?

I just glued mine into a splitter. The ones on the passenger side go to the ac and blend door. Take a pic of the box behind the alternator.

Yes, it is one of the 2 egr sensors. It registers that you have back pressure in the engine. If you are not getting a code (check engine light on) don't worry.

If I get no check engine light. Should I just close of the valve that broke off ?

I'd use a bolt because it blows instead of sucking.
