Ignition coil pack

I have a 2001 v6 abd wondering what would be recommended for an upgrade on the coil? I want something for performance but also to help out fuel mileage if possible. Also if swapping out coil what other parts be switched

On an otherwise stock car it is a waste of money. You won't see enough increase in either to justify the costs.

If you get a turbo or supercharger, get a Screaming Demon coil pack.

Does the car have the original coil? When I changed my original one to a new motorcraft one it helped alot. No gains performance-wise but there was a difference over the original coil which was failing.

See if a new one helps. What plugs/wires do you have? I was told to always stick with motorcraft in my car

From what I have herd an aftermarket coil pack will last as long as an oem one.

I've heard of some few people having problems with aftermarket coil packs, i'm pretty sure mine is original still works fine with over a 160,000 miles on it.
