Lol no not you, just an example. Trying to get back on topic though with the interior. Again, if anyone wants to know anything about pulling, installing new carpet, where to get a new headliner, how to re-upholster (don't just buy corbeaus) or how to pull XYZ let me know like I said. I will try to give instructions without throwing in too many passive aggressive comments.

I'd swap black carpet, black seats, black door cups/handles and black steering wheel/column trim and rock it. But that's me. It is VERY rare to see a clean red interior.

Also that pic illustrates what I was talking about before. NO 94-98 came with one single solid color except the all black ones. Every other one was a two tone red/grey/peanut butter with a black top half.

Yeah that might look sick too. Do you have an estimate of how much it cost you to clean up and black out your interior if you dont mind me asking?

I got every lower interior piece including the airbags for $460 out of a parts car but that is a really good deal and I got it all at once so that's a package deal price. ACC carpet is $120 and then whatever you pay for seats. You can get used leather ones for $400 for both fronts or pay $1k for Corbeaus. I paid $850 for the foams/upholstery for front and back and did all the work myself.

Im OCD about my Mustang interiors. I'm the one who has to look at it every time I drive it. Also on this one the exterior is great and the interior was the only part of the car that was really showing its age.

I like the full red interior a lot. I get bored at looking at all the black in mine.

Its not hard per se but its a complete pain in the crank and you can get a set of the AM budget race seats or real nice cloth Corbeaus for about what a good vinyl upholstery kit is going to cost. As I said, if I could do it all over again I would get the Corbeaus or another good aftermarket seat. I may put my seats up for sale next year and do just that honestly. And delete the passenger airbag so my kid can still ride in the car after I also delete the rear seat.

While this thread was going on and on and on, I installed a new gauge cluster. Guess what color? Red the last thing I'm adding is a shift boot with a the billet chrome shifter from american muscle hopefully soon. Then it is finished I'm sorry for molesting my interior, but it just looks too good

what kind of glow gauges are the? are they just white and look red because of the leds or..?

Ok. I can appreciate the interior now. The floor mats make it look much better.

It's still busy but at least it looks completed now.
