Fog Horn like noise on my mustang

Alright so ive took off the intake manifold and plenum and replaced the gaskets. After doing so I was putting everything back together but before I did I cleaned it all out with carb cleaner but after jump starting my mustang it out of no where started making a fog horn like noise very loud from like the cold air intake ? Any clues what this might be ?

is it whistling through one of the clamps that hold the CAI together?

Fog horn?
Cool!
Just put a rotating lighthouse light on the roof and park it down at the beach. Your car will be an attention getter...

The problem is likely the Idle Air Control valve is worn out and the plunger has begun to vibrate and that is the sound that you're hearing. If you determine that is the source of the noise, I highly recommend using either the OEM Motorcraft or a unit that is manufactured by Hitachi.

Well it sounds like it and it happens like a minute or two after starting and I press the throttle and as the rpms go up the sounds goes away then when the rpms come back down it and you can here it again then the rpms jump around then it will eventually stall

Definitely the Idle Air Control valve. My car was doing the exact same thing. Toss a new one on there and you should be good to go...

The symptoms that you are describing, the horn like noise, the erratic idle and stalling, all point to a problem with the IAC.
Whenever you replace anything on top of the engine (sensors, IAC, etc.) you need to disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes so that the computer can clear out it's memory. After re-connecting the battery, let the car idle for about 15 minutes so that it can relearn its new idle parameters after the new parts are installed.
Re-check everything that you did on the car and make sure that all of the electrical connections and vacuum lines are installed correctly and everything is tight.
DO THE IDLE RELEARN!
Also, I'm not a fan of aftermarket CAI's. Although, they typically don't make a "fog horn" sound. They don't add any power to the engine either. If its installed correctly, it shouldn't be making the noise that you are describing.
The stock air boxes are generally pretty good performance wise, so it's your call...

Just out of curiosity, what brand of IAC valve did you buy?

Ccto27, mine does that to, the CAI hits the side, when I step it to fast.
