Red License Plate Lights

Is it illegal to have my license plate illuminated by red lights? I know no blue is allowed but idk about red.

Most states allow red only on the rear of the vehicle, and no flashing lights at all. Ur lights should be just fine, but check ur local state laws just in case. I honestly have not heard of a state that is different than this however.

I would just make sure the red lights illuminate the plate as well as the white lights. Because even if a cop cant give you a ticket for being white I would assume he could give you a ticket for it not being clearly visible (similar to if you had your licence plate light out)

This is very true. Had 2 red plate lights on my previous bike, and it was well lit. Def something to keep in mind however.

It depends on what type of blue. I got some blue led's to match my atlantic blue paint. I havent had one bit of trouble with the law.

I think as long as the red is in the rear no problems amber I the front. I used to drive o.t.r and they were a stricked on the red or blue in the front.
