On a budget but trying

I have a 99 v6 that's my daily driver I have a 93 f150 that's about to go the junkyard. What I'm wondering is there anything I could pull off for my mustang I am going to pull the 5.0 and rebuild it (hopefully) but was thinking about stuff like the rear end

What are the emission regulations in your state? Most states do not allow you to place an older engine in a newer car.

Best thing to do would be to double check if there are any other regulations I have seen other places that say it is against a federal law because of emissions and there could be a fine up to $100,000 and jail time. So it's always good to double check

Yeah there really isn't a problem the big thing is that if you were to get in an accident and it is not stated in the insurance then you can be fined but as long as no Feds or anything find out then you should be fine kinda of a hard topic to explain.

It'll work. I put a 88 5.0 in my old 03. Of course I made it a 347 Stroker first lol

Yeah not worried about that a torch and welder will make anything fit but was wondering if I could scavenge other parts like the rear end

Yes. As long as both are 8.8 rear ends. If not, you can get a gear for $225 brand new. Ford Racing brand.
