Long tube headers

Are they worth it? Do they make that much of a deeper/ tough sound? How much HP increase? Lastly, how much are they and how much would a shop install em for, are they hard to put in yourself? Thanks guys

THere is a big sound difference in long tubes. Check out utube. You have to lift the engine up to put the drivers side header in.

They do give the exhaust note a deeper tone, mostly noticeable at idle and under 2500rpms. The power gains are okay..,probably not the best hp per dollar mod imo for the v6 when done alone. Combine them with H/C/I, FI etc and you'll yield better gains.

As said install isn't as simple as a CAI...you will most likely need a lift and a couple hours. Expect a couple hour labor charge if done at a shop.
