Tire fit

I got a 00 mustang v6 with dual exhaust and i want to get some 275 tires but some peoplen say they wont fit by the exhaust

Well I have 315/35's on the *** end of my v6 with dual exhaust and there's no rubbing. I did measure too prior to getting the wheels and I have ~2" of clearance.

Unless your exhaust is custom fabbed and running really close to the well you should be fine. Head over to your local tire shop or even a mechanic you know and see if they have a fitment tool you can borrow.

That's the best way to do it...the only rubbing I could see you possibly having, and it's a stretch with 275's, is that you might rub your inner plastic fender liner after compressing your suspension when entering a driveway or street at a grade.

My Mach 1 has 295/35's on 18x9 rears and they do rub when I enter a graded entrance. Doesn't do any damage as I'm traveling slow, just makes a nice rubbing noise, sounds like the car just shat it's pants lol.

And as seeing as the V6 doesnt come with a the quad shock in the rear you should be able to fit a larger wheel and tire and in rear easier due to this. I have an 18x10 with a 285/40 in the rear and still have space to grow

It depends how wide your wheels are and to how much bulge your gonna get and what kind of back spacing your gonna have

315/35R17s with no exhaust clearance issues and the other is a 275/40R17 with no clearance issues.
