loud noise help!!!

Okay over the past couple days ive been messing with my mustang. I notice the intake manifold had a lot of carbon build up and so did the intake plenum. I removed both cleaner them and cleaned the valve cover and replaced the gaskets. I replaced the spark plug wires and spark plugs and coil pack. Ever since ive done so theres this loud noise coming from the Throttle Body like LOUD. someone told me to replace the IAC valve which I did but it still does the noise. Any know why its doing this please help.!!!

Backfire from having a plug wire reversed with another?

Could be a bang or poping noise. The idle and/or performance should be altered as well if a pair of plug witres were reversed, as two cylinders would not be providing any power.

To check, google "firing order for a Ford <enter your year and engine size here>"

This should net you a site that has a picture of the engine, marking its plugs and firing order. Pre 2005's have one coil pack, correct? Not sepereate coils (CAP) per cylinder? If each cylinder has its own CAP, then one of those may be bad, and you should have a code (CEL) stored for it.

Yeah, check that. In my case I thought each side of the firing order was in order like 1-2-3, 4-5-6, but it was actually 5-6-4 or something
