I just have the MAC catback on mine and it has a great exhaust note could be a bit louder but you can fix that with headers and a mid pipe. Id do a H pipe (off road if possible then add shorty cars or resonators to clean up the sound) and long tube headers. just my 2 cents

^^^ I agree

Mac sounds decent on the 3.8 and so do Flowmaster 40's.

Imo I'd stay away from x-pipes, even catted ones. The v6 already gets a high pitched raspy tone above 2500 rpms, you don't want to make that worse.

Common saying in the community for the best sounding exhaust setup you can possibly get out of our v6's are longtube headers, an o/r or catted h-pipe, and flowmaster 40's.

I would say you could swap in MAC or Pypes Street Pro mufflers and still sound decent.

In the end you have to remember that exhaust is like wheels, it all comes down to personal preference.

IMO longtube headers, H-pipe, and flowmaster 40s are the best set up I think most people would agree

I agree with Keaton12. I love flow master 40s. My buddy got some the other day and they sound mean. But I run MAC longtube headers, o/r h pipe with mac exhaust. They sound great but it's all about personal preference.

NO CATS MUHAHAHAHA! Depends on what state you live in. Here in the great state of Alabama, we don't have emissions checks. But other states do.
