04 V6 mustang computer transmission? Tuner/shift kit or both?

I was wondering if my 04*V6 mustang*has a computer transmission? I believe the 05 does. I also wanted to know if i should get a tuner or a shift kit? Could I use both?

There use to be j mod kits for the autos.VAP Auto - Specializing in 3.8L Mustang Performance But they are no longer made. A tune from American Muscle will improve your shift points. I recommend changing your trans fluid first.
