Are they for the speakers right above the rear seats? I've never had my back seats out so now I'm curious if I have them :p

Back when I had my 98 4Runner I took the carpet out and had plugs like this. Took a few out and some had bolts behind them and some just went straight through and you could see the road.

I don't think they are for the back speakers because these don't have anything plug into them.

Aren't they floor board plugs? Incase you get water in the floor board and need a quick drain. Jeeps have them also.

This could be it....or, they may be used during assembly on the assembly line to access some part underneath.

Pop one out and see if there's a nut, a bolt, or some other fastner right below it.

On the 2011's and up models, the rear seats are removed to gain access to a cover to get at the fuel pump(s) without having to drop the gas tank.

I'm guessing the v6 models didn't come with the ABS sensor?

Then you probably don't have abs they put the wiring harness there cause it's probably cheaper and easier to just use one consistent harness vs the how ever many different ones they would need it's just like all cars with out fog lights still have the main harness for them
