Air bags went off

ok I got hit Friday night and both air bags went off I know I need to replace the modules in the steering wheel and dash but is there anything else I need to replace or do.

Let the dealer mess with your air bags. Don't want to take a chance that you do something wrong and when you really need them, they don't work!

You can take the ground off the battery and replace the pas. and drivers air bag. The other thing, I forget what it is called, is near the shifter but behind the dash. It has to be reset at the dealership, internet company via mail, or replaced with one that the air bags have not gone off. I think it is called the air bag control module.

ok so if I do the passenger and drivers air bags and the sensors myself it will be safe to hook the battery back up and take it to a dealership

Yes, you can drive the car to the dealership after installing the bags.

You need your impact sensors replaced ... Like the guy said above let the dealer deal with that lol
