NEED HELP: installing coilovers

Shops charges too much like 350-400 in my area, it doesn't really seem worth it to pay that much. I'm not very mechanical inclined and was wondering should I try to complete the install myself or pay a shop. I wish I knew someone I would rather pay them than a shop at least I can learn how to do it. So wat do u guys think I should do, I've had them about 2 weeks now just sitting in the garage.

You can look on Craigslist, there are a lot of guys can come to your place and do it a lot cheaper, and you can still learn while they do the work.

Do you have all the basic hand tools to do something like that? It's pretty straightforward for the fronts and the rears too

Nice post some pics! How low is it now?

Is it hitting bad? I would just get the fenders rolled

Looks good man. I would just get the fenders rolled if you like how wide the stance is. It won't hurt anything if they rub at that point.

Basically what it does is rolls the inner lip up so that the tire no longer touches the sharp edge and instead hits a round edge. The cheap way to do.it is get a baseball bat and a heat gun and to heat the lip up while rolling it upwards with the bat. The fancier kits bolt up to where the wheel goes and rolls an even lip to it. Some of the top ones will even add a flare to the fender of you wanted to do something like that.

Nope, fenders aren't rolled. I'm running Nitto NT05s and I think they run a little narrow. If I went any wider then it would definitely need rolled.
