What is the difference between these 2, other than the price? They both seem to do the same thing. Is one better than the other one?

One is blue and silver the other is gold. Lmao! When it comes to shifters they all have to same reduction in throw so it's quality of the material that's the difference. If your gonna race it you want a high dollar shifter that's not gonna break when you throw it around if it's your daily driver and you take it easy then the cheaper one will do just fine for you.

I am a daily driver but sometimes I like to have a little fun. Like accelerate at higher rpm and shift hard and fast. Will that be a problem?

Yeah just look at the material it's made out of get steel one stay away from aluminum which I think the blue one is mostly aluminum. I know b&m has a pro ripper that is stainless steel which will never break but that's for racers it's like 300 bucks.

If you want a quality shifter buy an MGW or a Steeda Tri-Ax. The cheap ones are exactly that.. cheap. The SR is a knock off of the Pro 5.0 and the sport shifter is a knockoff of the Steeda Tri-Ax

Cheap one works fine for what you're going to use it for. Don't spend hundreds on a shifter

A shifter gets used so all the time when you're driving, do you really wanna buy a cheap $80 short throw and expect it to last for a while?
