windstar swap and EGR/SMOG?

I know of a shop in cali that can pass cars, even when they don't have cats. We live in small rural area, happens all the time.
I'd still like to have some stuff on it, though. atleast the EGR.
I'll eventually, get LT headers then put my flowmaster's on.

I want to keep the EGR with the windstar+split port swap. will all of that swap over and fit in the mustang?

I'm looking into the 99-03 windstar intakes, I like how they look.

Those newer Windstar Intakes will not fit under a stock hood need a cowl induction hood

The 96-98 Windstar intakes are a flat design those newer ones are taller.

No the two intakes look completely different the older one looks similar to what's on our cars now but the throttle body is in the front of the engine and with the two runners going down the sides then the runners goin into the lower intake the newer one looks like the new coyote motor design like you said. Yes the 3 in. Cowl hood should fit the newer style intake under it.

I read that the newer one flows the same, its the heads and lower intake holding the 99-03 back.
Looks a lot nicer to me.
I don't want it to say 3.8 split port on it, since I have a 4.2.

I'd like to get a 5inch cowl, with a cobra front bumper and fog lights. Won't put any cobra emblems or anything just the bumper.

I've read that the newer Windstar intake does produce better numbers then the older one but if you want to keep the stock hood your stuck with the older one.
