P/p l/u intake vs. Windstar

What would b more beneficial having a ported and polished lower intake along with upper intake or the Windstar intake. Also if I were to get the Windstar intake could I port it? And would it be beneficial to have a ported and polished lower intake with the Windstar intake?

Windstar upper alone provides some nice hp/tq improvements, you cannot port it as the plastic does not have extra room. Lower is optional but can also help, you won't notice much off porting it, once you get into opening up the intakes a better cam will help it shine.
