Exhaust

Right now my 97 v6 has a single exhaust all stock and I want it to make some noise. Would I be better just putting a catback system on it rather than transferring it to a dual? I've been told that putting duals on it will just make it sound like a bumble bee and putting a catback is the easier and better way to go. I just want some of y'all's opinions.

Muffler delete would be plenty enough noise and is most cost efficient, but duals sound the best

Exhaust

I bought my 97 with duals already installed along with a CAI and it sounds fantastic for a v6. Louder than a lot of v8s. I don't know who told you the bumblebee thing because that sounds ridiculous. Also duals just look a lot cooler than single Click image for larger version

I don't know muffler brands , I run two cheap glass pack type mufflers with a true duel set up. Maybe someone else can chime and suggest good mufflers

Flow master 40s all the way. Got those and true duels and it sounds great.
