Tighten clutch cable?

Ok so I have a little squeak coming from my clutch under the car..when I depress the clutch pedal slightly the squeak stops. So for a temporary fix until I change the clutch is there a way to tighten the cable so that the pedal has more tension on it??

I have the same problem. You can adjust the clutch buy lifting up on the clutch pedal for about 10 15 seconds with your foot while the car is on and then pushing it all the way in. If that doesnt do much its your throw out bearing that needs to be replaced.
