Shift kits ?

Do these really help ? Or will the bama tune cover the shift firmness with the 4.10 gears

xrsfx-I've heard mixed reviews on the shift kits-Bama's absolutely able to adjust the shift points on your V6! Shoot them a call at 888.226.9764 and they can get you set up!

I had a Fairbanks shift kit in my AODE. It also had a b&m flex plate and such. If your going to do a shift kit install a b&m transmission cooler. I personally would not do the shift kit. I had literally the best clutches that they make for the AODE and 4r70w and it still blew up 3 weeks ago. It also had a 2,300 stall converter. If you want to buy a cooler or converter off me I'd be willing to sell it to you. I also have a ratchet shifter I could sell you. I feel like it's pointless to work the factory transmissions, if you really want a drag/strip tranny buy a c4

$140 shipped, includes the whole assembly and T handle knob, the knob in the pic is not the one you will be getting, but I will include the correct adapter so you can use any universal thread knob on there off eBay etc. Will include installation manual and operation guide. Ultimate anti theft device also, every friend and family member would fumble with it until I teached them how to work the lockout.

I did a shift kit from AM on my 00 v6 and I love it breaks the tires loose so I put sticky tires on it and it still breaks loose some but not as bad sifts fast and firm and got rid of slipping I love it
