V8 swap cheapest

What would be cheaper swapping a v8 in a early model 2007 or a 99

It would be easier and cheapest to just buy the car with the V8 already in there

The 99 would probable be cheaper and more options available since it is an older car but honestly either will will be pretty costly. You have to think of all the engine components, transmission, electronics (computer, sensors etc), as well as with a newer swap like that all the emissions stuff if you want to register it. Even the suspension parts can be different if you wan a quality ride. Most people when doing this on a newer car will look for a swap car that they can transplant everything from or else it can nickel and dime you to death.

Turn the 5 cars into 3 then buy #4 that has a V8. It really is the easiest option

cheapest option would be to get the k-member and motor mounts from a 79-95 302/5.0 mustang.
find a cheap 302/5.0 or maybe a 351/5.8.

carburetor would be the cheapest way to go.
I wouldn't build the engine to much, otherwise you'll have to change the transmission and rearend.

You might be able to buy a whole parts car for under $1000, pull off all the parts you need and scrap the rest.
