Vibration when car starts

Every once in a while when I start my car it'll noticeably vibrate more than how it normally idles and the rpm will fluctuate between around 600-1200 ish. However, when this happens I'll rev my engine up to around 2-3000 rpm and after this it idles just fine. What could be causing this and is it something I should be worried about?

Not sure. I just bought the car a few months ago
It's a 97 v6 and the only mods I'm aware of are cai and exhaust

You probably dont have that then. Its on american muscle for around $80 i think and it smooths the idle out and adds like 1hp. That might help your car out

Check ur timing and have a computer hooked up to it to see if the MAF or crank position sensors are going bad. U might just need a tune up as a misfire will create same effect. I recommend Boch platinum plus plugs have had good luck with them.
