Lower intake HELP! - Mustang Evolution

Lower intake HELP!

I have a 2000 v6 n the barb on it that gose to the bypass hose broke. I have another lower intake but its from a 03. I kno it has some module that built in it that the 99-00 dont have that if I leave on it my engine wont work right... how do I get it off n be able to use it for my 00?

The 03 lower intake has IRMCs. If you have to make it work. You can force the IRMCs open with 2 clamps. The IRMCs are the butter fly valves you see in the lower intake. They connect electronically and add 5 hp. But you can force them open with clamps where they externally manually open. I did it for a few years to a intake instead of changing intakes.

Thanks how do I get it to stay open?

https://www.google.com/search?q=1999...ne%3B401%3B300 Look at picture 19.See the 2 actuators on the back of the lower intake. Turn them and look inside the intake to make sure the butterflies are open. You will be able to see through the intake runners like looking through a hole. put clamps on the actuators to make sure they stay open. If you can not figure this out. You will be in trouble. I am not a teacher and this is the best explanation I can give.
