I've heard of that happening on a gt, and it was from water hitting the wire on the crank sensor at the bottom. Idk if its an issue with the v6 tho. secure that wire, and give it a test. otherwise you can spray water at different things on the bottom until you can make it happen again. Could even be the belt slipping, but i would expect some noises from that. careful though if you spray water. try to only get things that would get hit with rainwater.
