1995 mustang with supercoupe swap

Hi I need help with my mustang it was originally a v6 but the guy I bought it off had done the supercoupe swap so the 3.8 supercharged so when I got it it ran fine now when it's cold it won't run I have to hold the gas to keep it running and when it's hot it revs around 2 grand until I let out the clutch a little in gear then back off and it runs fine for a bit. I'm stumped any ideas ? Thanks

What's it sound like when you rev it? Does it sound like it's skipping a beat or anything?
