Hey-I've test fit the Smoked Projector Headlights on my '01 Bullitt for a weekend some time back and found that I really just liked the OEM look and picked up a new set of our Smoked OE Style. The one thing that I found was to definitely reseal them with RTV Silicone sealer and pick up a set of aftermarket bulbs. The bulbs that come with them are alright but they're a little dim and don't throw that much light and either Raxioms Bulbs or Sylvania will help!

let me know if you have any other questions and I'm here to help!

Alex

If you want brighter, get etiher Osram Night Breakers or Philips Xtreme Power bulbs and put them in the stock housings and make sure the stock lenses are cleaned and not hazy or anything. Then make sure the stockers are aimed right.

Only other way to get brighter is to do a full HID retrofit (not putting HID bulbs in the stock housings, a full on retrofit). And you really don't need brighter with the right halogen. Parts store sylvanias and the silverstars are not really that great.

Well if you are using a H7 you can get an Osram off road H7 which is pretty much a H9 in a H7 size bulb. 75% as bright as an OEM 4300k HID.

The raxioms are garbage to be honest, they arent very bright, and the quality is very low. If you want new headlights, you have to just splurge, spend some extra money and get a retrofit done

I will say that the reproduction smoked headlights that came on my 2000 are pretty nice. I know the car sat out over last winter and they still look new. They are not projectors or anything though and they may be from LRS, not sure. If I was to ever replace them it would be with OEM smoked lights not any sort of ricer crap.
