Turn signal flashes fast after halo light install

While wiring the halos on my projector lights, we tried to make it look good on the wires and put it in the plug (plugs wires into the turn signal). Long story short it didn't work and that plug messed up. The wires are temporarily hard wired into the light socket. There were a few sparks during the process. Everything does work, but the pass side turn signal blinks very fast. We did the drivers side the easier way and spliced it. Everything works perfect for the drivers side, no fast turn signals. This bothers me on multiple levels because my sequential tail lights look stupid when I turn right. I plan on replacing that plug that holds the wires (plugs into the turn light) in the next few days and seeing if that fixes it. If anyone has ANY information that would help me, please do share. Turn signal flashes fast after halo light install

Could this be because I need a new lamp socket? If anybody has any info I would really appreciate it

*I know nothing about wiring*
now that I have that out of the way I recall reading that if you don't have a resistor of a proper size it led lights will flash normal than they are supposed to.

Only thing is I don't have led bulbs, and only the right side flashes faster. I'm rewiring a new turn signal switch connector today when I get a chance

Yeah, I just used connectors on the drivers side. Made it easier and safer.

Update: the light started blinking normally again today. I did nothing to it and have no idea why it fixed itself. I did however rewire and replace the turn signal switch connector (had it temp. Hard wired in) because It would have messed up eventually. Everything works great now.

Alright, so I'm the dummy of the thread. I had a bad bulb in my sequential tail lights. Replaced the bulb and everything works as it should. For now at least
