Stutter after long trip

So I just got back from a long Christmas trip and now I am having some problems my cats have clogged up and I'm having a Cyl. 3 misfire question is my plugs are a month old so I hope that's not the problem could the clogged cats file out my plug? Idk what to really go check the car is stuttering real bad and has lost a stupid amount of power thanks

Its possible i suppose, but not likely. It would be more likely that it were the other way around - misfiring can clog cats. Try swapping the plug and wire to see if the misfire moves to the cylinder that you swapped them to. If it doesnt move, check for spark from the coil pack. If everything is good then check the injector by removing the plug from the cylinder and crank the engine over a few turns and see if you can smell fuel coming from the cylinder. If everything is good so far then id say that your cats are so plugged up that its choking the engine.

This is an excuse to get an off road X or H pipe lol. I had a cat clog up 2 weeks ago and the first thing I did was buy an off road pipes X pipe from american muscle and I put it on. Nice and loud and throaty now with the flowmaster super 44s out back, got it tuned from bama as well for some good hp gains and o2 sensors to be turned off
