grade of gasoline

Hi

just bought used 2002 3.8L mustang conv. less owners manual.
What grade of gas do you recommend

I believe the owners manual will tell you use 87. If you do a google search of "Ford Mustang owners manual" you should see a link to the Ford Owner Site where you can download a copy of your car's manual for free.

Just did it for mine.

gas grade

Thanks all:

I may try to find a manual on e-bay or some such place. Cost of printing,paper and ink is not cheap. Any way 87 it is. Thanks again.

Check the wrecking yards. The owners manuals are usually left in the glove box. Just look for the same year car as yours.

If you DON'T have a tuner like a Diablo Predator, etc. It's 87. Don't bother with the higher octane. The manual is free at Ford.com. https://owner.ford.com/servlet/Conte...e&ord=23587283
