8.8 question

Will an 8.8 out of a 94-95 gt fit in my 2000? Are they the same length?

It will fit but be a little bit shorter, you will want wheel spacers to make it the same length but is a direct swap. I believe the gearing in them is not quite as good as 99 to 04 so its best to get that year but it will fit.

Agreed on that you will want spacers. I've seen people take the 94-98 GT axle and put it in their 99-04 GTs so they can fit a wider wheel underneath without needing flares.

It does depend on where the axle bearing was riding on the axle

If you did that would the tire rub on the inner wheel well?
