help picking the right cam

pleases guys i need urgent help. i been trying to find the right cam for my v6. i only have my mind set on sound. i want a cam that will give me a louder more aggressive purr. i prefer one that could just get swapped right over with the stock without other modifications, because i just got an engine put in my Volvo that costs a ton of money so im on a budget but i want to do it right. can anyone provide a link of one please

Super Six Motorsports - V6 products that make your life faster

Click on the cams/rocker arms option on the left side and open the pdf.
Look for the low lift "lumpy" cam. This cam with a 214/224 duration and .460" of lift will retain the stock rockers and even the springs.

If you want big time lope at idle step up to the regular "lumpy" cam with more lift and duration but you will need upgraded valve springs as well.

Both will need tuning to see the best power gains.

I'd say the low lift is your best option for that lope you want but don't want to spend a ton of coin.

I about 2 months ago I got beehive springs and new pushrods. Can this get install without other extras

Well you're most likely going to need the retainers and lifter kit, actually you'll need everything listed other than the springs/pushrods you already have provided the pushrods you have are the correct length and diameter. That cam is more aggressive than the rougher lumpy cam from Supersix.

The small supporting items may seem unnecessary but the little bit of added cost is worth it. Might as well do it right the first time when you have everything opened up.
