Cams before supercharger or after?

Checked out supersix cams. I think the prices are 395$? (Not sure 100%)
Anyway what cam should I get for the 6'er? It depends what mods you have obviously and I know you have to retune it, so should i do this:

Full exhaust (long tubes headers, etc) and then cams...then tune it so I kill 2 birds 1 stone because you have to tune your car after headers. And cams you need a retune, so why not do these upgrades near the same then tune it?

Or...should I wait a year and half to supercharge the 6, then cam it?

Update: I spoke to Tony from SSM. He recommends me the best cam currently would be the lumpy cam, not sure if anyone has it on here. He also recommended the 218/224 because a possible supercharger in the future. I really want to get the 218/224 for one reason
1) I am dead serious on supercharging this 6, so why not just get the cam now?

2) How much hp would this increase? The 218/224

When you mean "comp cam", do you mean the 218/226 they're selling?

What is that exactly for anyway? The 218/224 is for supercharged, and I was getting it because I am supercharging my vehicle soon.

Comp or supersix will have a spring recommendation....Either the blue or yellow "LS" type beehive springs will do........While you are doing that , are u gonna put on a windstar intake or anything else?

Thanks man
Also, I don't think I'll put in a windstar intake because I can't even find any kits left...I'm aware they don't sell them anymore, and I'm having no such luck finding anyone selling it either. Before the cams and springs I'm doing my full exhaust (O/R H, long tubes, etc) and probably add a cold air intake.

And I want to do some minor cam work done...I don't want to change the rocker arms, or do intake, nor ported heads...I'm basically just doing cam and springs. I know it is a small gain (10-15??) but I'm not doing an naturally aspirated set up anyway. I'm planning on getting a GT rear end and 3.73 gears after cams, and then eventually after saving up for possibly 6+ months I'm getting my hands on a P1SC. Maybe have 6psi at first to see how the car runs and if the transmission can hold up before maximizing it at 11psi.

That's my current plan. And then if this runs successfully, I will buy forged rods & pistons, and upgrade my automatic transmission and go nitrous with a 100 wet shot. I'm going for a supercharger + nitrous combo. Yes, I am dead serious about all of this

it is pretty easy to make up a kit, I did, but my concern was just more airflow!. I have no clue how much the cam would add, I'm sure it would benefit bigtime from a tune......I imagine I'll do another long block by this fall...just hit 200k miles on mine....it has a vibration (flywheel) and leaks oil from the rear main. It'll be ok for a while longer lol

What is your car pushing right now Brad?
I just got my longtubes, and H Pipe in today. Time to install ASAP!

Also looks like I'll buy CompCam's cams and valve springs. Way more cheaper. I'll go for a 218/226

Question
If I'm changing the camshaft, and springs...do I also have to do:

lifter kit
push rods
steel retainers
valve locks
camshaft break in lube

??

What exactly would be the point of buying a lifter kit on a New Edge V6? lol. My car has less than 90,000 miles on it. They also recommend me to change my rocker arms, but they look good. There's no need to change parts when your OEM's are fine.

I'm buying the valve springs because the cam's aggressive (218/226 .50)

Def. get springs ....I'd re-use rocker arms if they are not worn bad. Yes roller rockers are best but they can be added at a later date....I'd throw on a NEW timing chain since you're in there anyway.....I would use the same push rods. make sure you install the springs , retainers and locks correctly.....Take your time, don't rush. Apply Blue Loctite to the balancer bolt....I believe a tune will take full advantage of the cam.....It should sound great with long tube headers...You can always p&p the intake later. or add a windstar.....Bigger t.b. too

K first off yes exactly u have 90k on that motor! Looks aren't everything. But if u want dump cash into ur ride and reuse old parts just to get on it later and potentially explode ur motor cuz of a reused aged part go ahead! If ur gana do a SC & cam why not go full roller and free up some more ponies? Roller rockers and lifters? When I do a internal assembly build I never reuse parts... Just bad carma waiting to come back on u, and apply Murphy's law here! If some thing can go wrong it will! All of this most definitely should apply if ur using an "aggressive" cam! Don't forget new cam bearings!

Good point.

I didnt want to go too crazy with a cam because this car wont be going the NA way, so I was trying to cheap it up a bit I guess lol
