ABS light on after doing brakes

I noticed shortly after I changed the rotors and brake pads on my 2003 ford mustang v6 the ABS and Traction Control Light would blink intermittently and now stay on all the time. I have read that this is a common issue after doing brakes. I checked the speed sensor connections to make sure they were not loose and at no time during the brake job and brake bleeding process did the brake fluid get low. I checked the fuses for the ABS under the dash and under the hood and they are fine. Any suggestions on what could possibly be the issue?

Would a scanner tell you? Idk if they do but if it can go to a parts store that'll scan it for free.

Disconnect your battery for 20 mins. Had the same issue on a Escape.
