My ugly exhaust tips are stuck

OK so I have these ugly *** exhaust tips on my stang and I wanna take them off. I removed the D-Clamps and tried to pry them loose. Seems like the exhaust heat bonded it to the pipes. I'm sick of the tips and I want them off...any suggestions? The pipes also nees some polishing, what can I use to get small rust spots off?

If that doesn't get them off... I don't think they'll be coming off. But you could always cut them.

try heating them up and using gloves or somethign to pull them off. The heat would expand the tips and may make it easier to pull off.
