Next Mod?

I so far have a cold air intake, BBK throttle body, and Flowmaster dual exhaust on my 2003 mustang v6 automatic. I wanted to see which of the following mods would be the next best one for horsepower and acceleration:
Shorty or long tube headers
ASP underdrive pulley
4:10 gears with limited slip differential
Aluminum driveshaft
Valve body with shift kit
Tuner
P

+1 on the tuner first ! You'll need it if you do gears, to be able to recalibrate your speedometer! Do the tune and then, it would be a better time to get an 8.8, rear end from a gt and install 4:10's in it! From There the 8.8 will simply bolt right on.

What difference would i see from a 8.8 gt rear end with 4.10 gears versus the 7.5 v6 rear end with 4.10 gears?

The 8.8 already comes with the rear differential, so you wouldn't have to pay for a posi lock and you won't have to pay for an install of the posi lock into the 7.7 wich isn't cheap. Depending on we're you live and what shop you take it too, you may be able to do an 8.8 swap for cheaper or equal the price. You can find 8.8's at any junk yard basically . But overall the 8.8 is sturdier and if you ever plan to go f/I the 8.8 is a must! Look around on the threads there's tons of 8.8 swap's that are packed with helpful information! But when it comes to gears themselves deciding comes from two questions; what transmission do I have and what type of driving do I do. As in city vs highway driving.

Besides price the 8.8 is also heavier than the 7.5

Tuner/gears-tlok before anything else. Those two mods will get you the most bang for your buck outside of FI and/engine building on that 3.8 platform.

I agree with upgrading to the 8.8" but I would plan on rebuilding the factory tlok when dropping new gears in. The rebuild kits are only ~$100 and you'll have a "new" tlok to go with your new gears.

As far as the other mods you listed,
Long tubes over shorties any day, aluminum driveshaft is beneficial but not critical at stock/near stock power levels, udp's...meh, jmod would be your best bet for the 4R70W, and I believe some tuners will make tunes to coincide with the jmod.
