Balancing drive shaft or replacing drive shaft

My drive shaft is a good but unbalanced. My car ride is miserable on interstate or highway because of the vibration. I was wondering if it would be cheaper to get it balanced or get a used one? I see them on eBay for around $75. I've also considered getting the aluminum one from AM for $300, but that's a lot more than I want to spend right now. Thanks in advance for any input

Edit: Drive shaft is for an automatic transmission

It has been years since I had a drive shaft balanced but it was like $30. Not to sound rude but did you check to make sure the tires were balanced?

If you plan on keeping the car, just get one.

To be fair, they do need to be balanced. But the vibrations stop when I coast in neutral. As soon as it's in drive, it comes back.

Just buy a new one. Might as well upgrade while it's out

get the aluminum driveshaft, figure your acceleration will improve from the lighter weight
