Change the open diffenrential ?

I am a bit a noob in cars, but I know that the 99-04 v6 have an open differential and that kinda sucks.... can I do something to change it so the power goes to both wheels ?

Change the open diffenrential ?

You can get a T-Lock limited slip differential from Americanmuscle.com or you can swap an 8.8 rear end out of a GT Mustang.

Do what the guy above me said, but the latter.

The 7.5 is a piece of ****. Just get an 8.8 from a used New Edge GT and swap in the stock 3.27's with 3.73's or 4.10's

^Agreed. When I do this, I will be using an 8.8 with 3.73 or 4.10s. I'll throw the 7.5 rear end in the garbage.

Yeah, anyone parting them out of scrapping. Make sure to get 99-04 because 94-98 will be shorter so you'd need wheel spacers

Change the open diffenrential ?

Buying from American muscle means you will be using your 7.5 rear end. They don't sell entire rear ends on AM

You can find a low mileage 8.8 with 3.73 for MUCH cheaper than that T-Lock.

Basically. It'll all bolt up directly into your v6.
