Lowering Springs

Hey everyone,
I'm considering a set of eibach lowering springs for my 99 V6. I am wondering with a 1.5in drop is it worth spending the extra cash on aftermarket shocks/struts or will a new set of factory shocks/struts suffice? Thoughts?

Honestly, it all depends in the shape of your car.

How many miles? Do the struts and shocks look good?

I got away with a 1.6/1.5 drop with H&R Super Sports without changing the struts, and without camber plates. My alignment went smooth. I just got lucky.

My car has 295,200kms/183,500mi on it and I'm pretty sure it's still the original suspension. I'm going to price the struts and shocks out and see which option is cheaper.

Look into foxbody replacement struts. Cheaper and take the drop better as they're shorter.
